Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a motor speech impairment where children who are affected have difficulty carrying out the complex motor movements involved in speech. Check out this interesting video of Speech-Language Pathologist Dr. Edythe Strand talking about her experience working with children with CAS and what types of therapy are involved in treating this impairment.
